What is LED Light Therapy?

For that radiating, wow skin texture, our non – invasive LED light therapy works at a cellular level. The soothing deep penetrating LED lights target deep into the cells heightening their internal functions, photo – stimulating dermal blood flow and create faster healing so your skin always looks rejuvenated.

Treatment Areas:

Face, neck, chest, body

Treatment Description:

Light therapy—or phototherapy is a method recognized by scientific medicine for the treatment of various diseases. It includes exposure to outdoor daylight or specific indoor artificial light sources.

How it Works?

How does light therapy work? LED Light Therapy uses colour wavelengths of visible light which have specific skin benefits. As a result of ageing, skin disorders or trauma, healthy skin cells are compromised and unable to renew themselves normally.

What to Expect During the Treatment?

Lie still during the entire treatment as the device works. The treatment usually lasts about 20 minutes. LED light therapy is a non-invasive, painless treatment. During treatment, you might feel some warmth but no discomfort.

Before Treatment:

Double Cleanse off any make up & SPF before having the treatment.

Treatment Aftercare:

Keep the skin protected & hydrated to ensure long lasting results.

Repeat Treatments:

For optimum results, we recommend 4 – 6 LED light therapy treatments at 2 sessions weekly.

Our LED light therapy treatment is a fantastic stand – alone treatment to leave your skin feeling energised and radiant. It is a hero treatment to supercharge the results of any of our other skin treatments as well as any of our cosmetic injectable treatments to accelerate the healing process, minimise bruising and / or swelling.

Safety, Precautions and Side Effects:

The major contraindications for the use of light therapy are diseases that involve the retina of the eye, such as diabetes, and the use of photosensitizing medications like lithium, melatonin, phenothiazine antipsychotics, and certain antibiotics.

Inflammation, rashes, skin redness, skin tenderness.

Am I Suitable for the Treatment?

The recommended light boxes have filters that remove harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays, so there’s no risk of skin or eye damage for most people.

However, exposure to very bright light may not be suitable if you: have an eye condition or eye damage that makes your eyes particularly sensitive to light.
